At the heart of our successful company is a dedicated and experienced staff. Founded in 1985, more than 30 people make up the Midstate Specialties team, each having specialized expertise that streamlines our business relationships with clients who need commercial doors, frames and hardware to meet specific requirements. Our Estimators, Detailers, Project Managers, Purchasing Agents, Warehouse Staff, Delivery Drivers, Superintendents, Field Installers, and Administrators add to the positive experience we expect with each commercial door client.

We also specialize in outfitting commercial restrooms with steel or plastic laminate partitions and a complete list of restroom accessories.

With over 3,000 square feet, our main office is adjacent to our shop, allowing us to accurately prep doors for hardware and access our warehouse for efficient project staging. We know there are no "cookie cutter" solutions for our clients. Some commercial door customers are looking for architectural doors to enhance design while others need security doors and hardware that are compatible with security technologies such as keypads and biometric systems. We are also flexible and able to offer FOB services — providing door frames, doors and hardware to be installed by other professionals. For example, we are proud of the FOB work we provided for the $1.8 million CalPers project. Our FOB doors, frames and hardware were clearly marked and labeled to facilitate quick installation and minimize costs.
In addition, we are qualified to do specification consulting. Our specialists can write specifications for commercial door, frame and hardware designs that are code-worthy and ready for architects to include in building schematics. This very specialized niche in the commercial frame and door arena is not readily available and requires deep expertise and experience.
